Visits and winetastings
Tenuta Maria Teresa dates back to the first half of the Nineteenth Century, it was the country house of the Duchess of Lucca, Maria Teresa di Savoia, wife of Carlo Lodovico di Borbone. It is situated in the rolling hills of oak, pine and acacia trees, 6 km northwest of Lucca, in the area named San Martino in Vignale.
Today the Estate keeps its agricultural vocation with eight hectares of vineyards from which fine wines are made, twelve hectares of olive groves, in line with Lucca tradition, beehives that produce three varieties of honey. Dedicated fields owned by the Certosa of Farneta have been rented, where ancient grains are cultivated to produce pasta with a strong and genuine character. Tenuta Maria Teresa's products are all characterised by organic certification and attention to environmental preservation.

Tasting of four wines and extra virgin organic olive oil with bread, salami, cheese, Tuscan fettunta, a tasting of our pasta and ricotta cheese with honey. Tastings take place from Monday to Saturday starting at 11:00 or 15:00. We are closed on Monday afternoons, Saturday afternoons and Sundays.
